if you haven't noticed, i have started an unofficial two week countdown to the happy lovely yummy heart day.  i have been trying to do one or more posts a day since i started this blog, but missed yesterday's and wheeeewie did I hear about it...from my mom.  she just called to see if i was okay "because i hadn't posted for a few days".   loosely translated, "a few days" is equal to but never greater than one.  one day.  so, in honour of my loving mother who might just love this blog more than me now (kidding mom), i am just gunna give'r today!  love you mom.

back to my crafting obsession....dreamcatcher hearts.  i love how these came out!!  i had the idea to do dreamcatchers in all of them but experimented with all kinds of ways to use the yarn on these and love them all.  you can thread one of these with ribbon to dress up a wrapped gift, you can hang them in a window for festive vibes, hang for a cute surprise  in your lovers car from their rear view mirror, or you can do what my lil guy did and fling them across the room like cupids ninja star hearts.  yeah, i was feeling the welts, i mean love.
here's whatchya need:

floral stem wire
white floral tape
yarn or string
love, obviously

you can get the floral stuffz from any flower shop or craft store.  you can try and use whatever wire you have, if you have some laying around.

i am going to post a video on how to wrap floral wire for those of you who have no idea what that is and how to do it.  i am going to thank the woman in this video ahead of time for inspiring me to get my "ish" together and make my own "how to vids" for you guys.  until then, enjoy this...actually, you can follow the link here if you need to.   she ain't invited to this party...can someone pour me a martini?   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtcFpwzxDhk

k, wrap the wire with the slightly stretched floral tape and then fold in the middle and form a heart. where the arches of the heart meet, take a small piece of floral tape and wrap around them to join so that the tips are side by side pointing towards the pointed bottom of the heart.  you can then decide how you want to lovely them right up with yarn or embroidery floss.  if you want to do them with dreamcatchers in them, check this vid out...there are probz a million how to's on how to do this, lemme find you a goodie...oh my gosh. i kinda just fell in love with this girl's youtube DIY music videos.  i think you will to.  okay.  game on.  gunna try to make my own vids in the future.

the ones i made with stars are pretty cool too.  they look like witchy pentagrams.

hope you guys are loving each other right up.   word of advise, make valentines day lovely for yourself and your ladies cause all the prince charmings in the world piled up on toast wouldn't taste as sweet as we wish in our girly thoughts it could.   make valentines and be cute and romantic and down right dorky if'n'ya want.  if you don't care for it...don't do anything.  it's an easy one to let pass right by. (boooooooring!!) (eye rolls) (sad sighs) (just saying)
